Adult Ministry
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up on meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” —Hebrews 10:24,25

The Adult Ministry at Parkridge wants to make sure that those adults who are examining Christ for the first time feel welcomed and secure. And at the same time, adults who have followed the Lord for years need fellowship with other believers to be encourage and challenged in their faith. Whether it’s through a Small Group or connecting with a group of men or women, find out how you can help bring biblical principles to light and make Parkridge a home to anyone who comes through our door.
Serving Opportunities in the Adult Ministry...
Small Groups—The majority of ministry to adults takes place in our Small Groups. These groups build relationships around the study and application of the Bible. This is where people discuss living for God and share both struggles and joys. Every Small Group has the following leadership opportunities and maybe a few more:
Teacher: Takes responsibility for the Small Group and leading a life-changing, biblical lesson
Administrator: Helps coordinate and communicate the activities of the Small Group
Teacher-in-Training: Teaches the class regularly and eventually may help with a future Small Group
Care Group Leader: Keeps in touch with four to seven families in the Small Group by phone, email, notes
Women’s Ministry—We can always use people to help organize occasional groups and events to meet the needs of women at Parkridge.
Men’s Ministry—We can always use people to help organize occasional groups and events to meet the needs of men at Parkridge.
