The w eather is Great!  We had a little rain last night, but so far today it's dry as a bone.  I hope you had the chance to check out our services live streaming (see previous blog for the address).  In case you didn't here is a recap of the morning rally:

Verse of the Day (Daily Nuggets).  Matt. 4:19

We saw a fun drama telling the story of Peter and Jesus set in a western theme.  Jesus washing the feet of His followers and asking, "who do you say I am?"

Rich Andrews brought a great message: "The Character of Peter"

1. Peter's Calling - Matt 4:18-20.  Peter immediately followed.  He did not hesitate.  He made the choice to follow Jesus.  The same choice we have to make today.  God doesn't make us follow Him.

2. Peter's Confession - Matt. 16:16 "you are the Christ!"  Jesus is our Savior.

3. Peter's Callused Heart - Matt. 26:69-75 "Peter's denial."  He did not stand for Christ.  We should stand for Christ even if it is uncomfortable.  We should be the light in a world that needs a lot of light.  Question: Would an unbeliver ever accuse you of being a follower of Christ based on how you live?

4. Peter's Commitment - John 21:15.  Jesus restores Peter and Peter exclaimes; You are the Lord, you know all things.  You know I love you!  How about you today?  Do you love Jesus?  Have you given your heart to Him and asked Him to be the Savior of your life?  Great questions for kids at camp - also a great question if you are reading this blog.  I pray you have a relationship with Jesus today.
